I believe that everything begins with our clients’ objectives and we go from there. Whether these lead us to focus primarily on maximizing employee satisfaction with their benefits, on understanding the experience patterns of a group, or on implementing major cost controls, the most crucial element of my work with my clients is ensuring that we all know where we want to end up!

With the objectives in mind, we develop our road map, and guide our clients in the process of selecting, among the myriad of products and tools available, the ones that make the most sense in their situation.

I strongly value guiding my clients to become more discriminating users of financial products and services by helping them understand the ins and outs of the choices they are making. Honest, open communication and a commitment to earning my clients’ trust helps us develop a meaningful, productive relationship.

I began my working life in the financial industry more than 35 years ago. I had the very great fortune of starting my career on the inside of a major insurance company, in roles ranging from training to management, in areas such as underwriting, administration and customer service. After many years in corporate life, and wishing to work more closely with clients, I moved to the brokerage side of the equation. I have been working with group and individual clients in that capacity since 2007.

Achieving balance between what is needed today and what is needed tomorrow and understanding all the factors that go into building and strengthening a business are approaches I feel are necessary for true financial success.

I grew up in Quebec City, moved to Montreal as a young adult to study first theater, then English literature, and finally nursing, and have been here ever since. I got my first real job in the financial industry and went on to add an MBA to my academic portfolio. When I am not working, you will find me out and about — walking, cycling, or cross-country skiing — or at home, busy making art quilts or relaxing with my well-loved cats and my husband in our Montreal West Island home.
